Vacation at “City of Gold” – Dubai

This time of the Year, Holiday season, I am back with the new Travel blog J with loads of experience to share with you all about the City of Sands , Sun and Gold, it is DUBAI.

Day 1(December 3rd 2016)

Dubay ☺☺ here I come!!!!. Boarding morning flight(9.45AM), 'Emirates Airways' from Bengaluru and reached at 1PM Dubai Time and as I landed, it was a startling moment!!WOW, ‘The Dubai airport’, goshhh it is gigantic!!!

And then headed to the Hotel named ‘Citymax’, an appealing one with cozy interiors and tourists pouring in and out and located in “Bur Dubai” ,which is about 30 minutes drive from the Airport and finally got to relax!!!

As the dusk fell, it was time to visit the first place on the itinerary “The Dhow Cruise” with a Romantic dinner and a special attraction-Tanoura Dance and this is my first experience witnessing this stunning dance. Cruise was just fine with a decent buffet spread and covering a short city stretch but the City View was spectacular with sparkling skyscrapers and other vibrant Cruises around.

NOTE: Cruise is a must try experience for the first time visitors to Dubai.

Day 2(December 4th 2016)

There is no better feeling than beginning the day with a scrumptious breakfast J J
And then headed to “Dubai City Tour” covering list of places

Dubai Museum and Al Fahidi Fort.
Burj-Al- Arab Beach.
2nd December Street.
View of the King’s Palace.
Palm Island – The trunk and the last branch of the Palm Tree.
Art Gallery.

Then the evening began with a long drive to the “Desert Safari”. The driver was just marvelous with his skills and it is a incredible Topsy Turvy SUV drive experience through the golden sands and with a Sunset view and then headed to ‘D4D Desert Camp’ with a ‘Feast to the Eyes’ performance of Belly Dance, Tanoura Dance and Fire Dance, it was an overwhelming moment.

Below are the few shots from the City tour/Desert Safari/D4D camp

Day 3(December 5th 2016)

A Bright  Monday Morning, headed to the world’s tallest structure “Burj Khalifa”,-‘At the Top-124th Floor’.

Can you guys believeee this, the time taken to reach the 124th floor from the ground level is ‘JUST A MINUTE’. The lofty feeling as you are going higher and even after hitting the 124th Floor it is like the tower is never ending! it is….SKY-HIGH.

Day 4(December 6th 2016)

Ahhha!! Finally here it is, the day beginning with  Adventure water sport TADA!! Yes,it is FLYBOARD at the ‘Jumeriah Beach’.(the Gulf waters are known to be one of the Saltiest SEA waters)

Fly boarding is one of the tricky water sports to try and It is a mixed feeling of being scary, excited and tiresome all at the same time J some how I felt I had Thalassophobia at the moment and just couldn’t complete the sport, the bulky water and fear of a shark pulling me down  phew that ended up being felt SCARY

And So they say ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO END, carrying the heavy load of these delightful memories headed back to namma bengaluru.

ADIOS for now will be coming up soon with another new place J J !!!!!
